This week all of our classes got to go on their sponsored Dundalk walks.

Our 2nd and 3rd class went to Ice House Hill and looked at the different trees and plants in the area. They also carried out tree rubbings in a very enjoyable trip. Our 4th class took to Clarke Train Station in Dundalk, an area of great heritage and history on our doorstep. Thanks to teh staff of the train station for the tours which provided great information and insights. 5th class walked to a local gem in the Famine gardens, ahving studied the Famine throughout the year this was a very fitting and valuable trip while our 6th class going a little further to walk around the Annaloughan Loop.

A huge thank you to those who have handed in their sponsorship cards and have given so generously. For those who haven’t handed them in we would encourage them to be returned as soon as you can.
