Congratulations to our 5-A-Side team who competed in the Spar FAI 5’s competition yesterday in DKIT Sport. The boys did their school proud by winning three out of their four games and qualifying for the final day of the competition on April 11th. Best of luck boys!

Two teams of Sixth class students competed in the Credit Union Quiz in the Lisdoo, on Monday 19th February 2018. Both teams did very well, coming 8th and 11th out of 22 teams from local schools, in what was a very close competition. Congratulations to all involved!

All classes had a great experience on Friday February 9th when Scott Ziglinski came to visit. Each class spent some time working in teams and constructing various vehicles under the watchful eye of Scott. The Fire brigade visited 3rd class and discussed the importance of smoke detectors, making an escape plan, etc. One fireman even dressed up in his full fire fighting gear to show the boys how quickly they can get ready!

Our annual Christmas assembly was held in the hall where all classes sang Christmas carols and performed festive poems. Treats and prizes were also given in appreciation to all the boys who made a special effort to sell lines for our Christmas raffle.
